Photos from Lilypons
On 9/2/07, my mother and I went to the Koi and Wine Festival at Lilypons. We had gone once
before, four years earlier I think. At that time, there was at least one booth with koi (aside from
the ones that they usually have) and at least one table with wine samples. This year, I saw zero of
either, just about half a dozen booths of crafts, mostly having nothing to do with ponds
specifically. I do not drink alcohol myself but one woman came up to me to ask where it was. I
was wearing my pond shirt so she thought I worked there. Aside from watching dogs jump off a
dock for a few minutes and looking at the same show ponds that I have seen before (which were
not in great shape), there was not much to do. I bought three bare root plants - white (I hope)
pickerel rush, yellow primrose creeper (which is growing all over the place there), and a
variegated taro half price.
My digital camera went crazy so I only got a few photos. I took eight photos, and then it said
"memory full" even though it should hold 300+ photos (it was empty before I got there). So, I
looked at the photos on there to see if there were more. There were eight photos on there but not
the ones I had just taken! They were of Chickie (a chick) when she was a baby and other photos,
all of which I had deleted months ago! So, I cleared those out and lowered the resolution so it
said I could take 27 photos (only 8 at the high resolution that usually holds over 300 photos). I
took about a dozen photos mostly of the show ponds. When I got home, I pulled the photos off
of the digital camera. The only photos on there were the 8 I had taken when I first got to
Lilypons. The others vanished! Here are those 8.

We also went to the same festival on 8/31/03, and those photos can be seen on my main site here.
